He chairs G-I-N Asia, leads Cochrane Complementary Medicine Korea, and serves on editorial boards of over 30 SCI journals. A prolific author with 600+ SCIE publications, he ranks among the top 2% of global scientists and is one of the most published researchers in CAM worldwide.

Arman Zargaran (b. 1985, Tehran) holds PharmD and PhD in Traditional Pharmacy. Since 2016 he’s Associate Professor and Head of History of Medicine at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Director of International Affairs. IAHP member, top 2% cited (h-index 26), 10 books, 200+ articles.

A professor of clinical epidemiology and the Director of the Centre for Evidence-Based Chinese Medicine at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. He is an advisor for traditional medicine for the World Health Organization (WHO), and is a Chang Jiang Scholar Professor (awarded by the Ministry of Education, China)

Since 2020, Professor of Public Health & Foundation Director of the National Centre for Naturopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University. Former Visiting Professor at Oxford. Holds PhD (2012), LLM, MPH. Deputy Chair of NHMRC Natural Therapies WG. >$35M research funding.

Prof Matsabisa, PhD Pharmacology, directs the AMITD Platform at Univ. of the Free State and is BUCM Guest Professor. Chairs SAHPRA expert group on African Traditional Medicines; member of the cannabis advisory and WHO Afro COVID-19 Traditional Medicines panel. Patent-holder and researcher.

Dr. Ines von Rosenstiel is a pediatrician and specialist in integrative medicine with expertise in oncology, lifestyle medicine, and planetary health. She integrates evidence-based conventional and complementary approaches to optimize patient care and outcomes. As a recognized speaker, educator, and researcher, she actively contributes to the advancement of integrative medicine at national and international levels

Title: The 4 P's of Professional Formation. Currently WHO Traditional Medicine Strategies recognize products, practitioners and practices. What is missing is the recognition of professions as a central to the regulation, professional formation and oversight of traditional systems of medicine and traditional practices. To move traditional medicine forward it is imperative to that professions are seen as the essential gatekeepers.
