Abstracts, activity proposals, and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) must be submitted by June 18.

The 3rd World Congress on Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine (3rd WCTCIM) has entered the final stage for proposal submissions. With extended deadlines, three calls remain open for researchers, professionals, policymakers, and communities who wish to seize this new opportunity to contribute to the scientific and strategic program of the congress.

Participating in these calls offers a chance to contribute to the global agenda for Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine (TCIM). By submitting a scientific abstract, proposing a practical activity, or leading a SIG, participants engage directly in knowledge production, international exchange, and the strengthening of institutional networks, all of which will be featured in the 3rd WCTCIM program.

Take Advantage of the New Deadline to Submit Your Proposal

Scientific Abstract Submission

New deadline: June 18, 2025

Categories: research, case report, and experience report.

Approved abstracts will be included in the official congress program and, depending on the category, will be published either in a special issue of the indexed journal Frontiers in Public Health—renowned for its scientific excellence and international visibility—or on the IdeiaSUS (Fiocruz) platform, which highlights public health experiences.

All three submission categories include original research, clinical case reports, and experience reports in TCIM contexts. Abstracts must be submitted exclusively in English and will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee based on criteria such as originality, thematic relevance, methodological rigor, and contribution to the TCIM field.

Proposals must align with the thematic axes of the congress and be submitted in English. Each proposal must specify clear objectives, methodology, target audience, and facilitator profiles. Selected activities will be part of the official event program and gain international visibility among participants from more than 50 countries.

Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

New deadline: June 18, 2025

SIGs are international collaborative working groups focused on strategic TCIM themes, with the goal of achieving concrete and applicable outcomes. Each group must propose a clear mission, specific objectives, and an action plan to be developed throughout 2025. Projects may result in clinical guidelines, research protocols, educational modules, editorials, or other forms of technical and scientific output.

Proposals must include at least two coordinators and five additional members, ensuring diversity in nationality, gender, professional background, and institutional affiliation. SIGs will receive support from the Congress Scientific Committee and enjoy international visibility during the event and in follow-up initiatives.
