This workshop brings together the Par\u00e1-based company FortParaOil, which originated with the first Japanese immigrants to the Acar\u00e1 area south of Bel\u00e9m do Par\u00e1, and which works with 50 partner families from the eastern Amazon. The community adopted the agroforestry approach to planting native species, following the continued education of the population, thus obtaining value-added products, some of which are food products and others such as fatty vegetable oils and butters with anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties for small cosmetics and food industries. All this combined with the knowledge disseminated by the Tupi-Guarani Indigenous College and Clinic in its courses, whose mission is to teach and preserve the Indigenous Medicine of various native peoples, contributing to cultural appreciation and the advancement of human health. A concise synthesis of practices for identifying and using plants for medicinal, therapeutic, nutritional, insect repellent and anti-toxin purposes will be presented in October 2025 at the 3rd WCTCIM. This workshop brings together the Par\u00e1-based company FortParaOil, which originated with the first Japanese immigrants to the Acar\u00e1 area south of Bel\u00e9m do Par\u00e1, and which works with 50 partner families from the eastern Amazon. The community adopted the agroforestry approach to planting native species, following the continued education of the population, thus obtaining value-added products, some of which are food products and others such as fatty vegetable oils and butters with anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties for small cosmetics and food industries.
