📢 IMPORTANT: Publication in Frontiers in Public Health

All accepted abstracts will be published in Frontiers in Public Health (conference proceedings).

✓ Requirement 1: Valid regular registration for WCTCIM 2025
✓ Requirement 2: Presentation according to your modality (in-person for posters/orals; video for experience reports)

⚠️ Abstracts without valid registration and presentation will not be published.

Poster Presentations

📋 Format Requirements

Size A0 (841mm × 1189mm)
Orientation Portrait (Vertical)
Title Font Minimum 70pt
Body Font Minimum 24pt

📅 Schedule

Day 1: Setup Mount your poster between 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
Days 1–4: Display Posters remain on display throughout the congress.
Evaluation Session Be present at your scheduled time (TBA). Present for ~5 minutes and answer questions from the committee.
Day 4: Removal Remove your poster between 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Uncollected posters will be discarded.

Oral Presentations

🎤 Scientific Sessions

Presentation Time 10 minutes
Q&A Time 5 minutes (at the end of the session)
Format PowerPoint or PDF
Submission 24 hours in advance

👥 Panel Presentations

Speaking Time 15 minutes per speaker
Format Integrated panel discussion
Note: Panel speakers will receive invitations from the Program Committee with panel topic, co-panelists, and specific talking points.

  • Submit presentation 24 hours in advance.
  • Arrive 30 minutes before your session.
  • English preferred (translation available).
  • Professional attire required.
  • Required for Frontiers publication: Registration + Presentation.

Experience Reports

📅 VIDEO SUBMISSION DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 15, 2025

  • Potential oral presentation (by invitation)

Duration 3–5 minutes (strict)
Aspect Ratio 16:9 (horizontal)

File MP4 or MOV
Max Size 500 MB
Audio Clear (external mic recommended)
Lighting Good lighting (avoid backlight)

🌐 Language Flexibility

  • ✅ Portuguese, English, or your native language - all accepted
  • ✅ Required: Add English keywords on slides when using slides
  • ✅ Use WHO terminology when possible

🎨 Visual Design

  • No mandatory template - you have creative freedom
  • No required conference logos or specific visual elements
  • Focus on clear, professional presentation
  • Simple, clean designs work best for video format

📝 Suggested Video Structure

Opening Name, country, institution, professional role
Context Healthcare setting, target population, system context
Description Objectives of your integrative practice; specific practices used (acupuncture, herbal medicine, etc.); timeline and implementation phases; resources required (staff, training, materials); partnerships established
Results Show your experience, the place and real images. Outcomes achieved; success indicators and metrics; challenges faced and solutions implemented; patient/community response
Results Demonstrate your experience: Include the location and authentic images. Achieved Outcomes: Success indicators and metrics; challenges encountered and solutions implemented; patient/community feedback
Conclusion Lessons learned, replication potential, final message

📊 Visual & Content Tips

  • Alternate between speaker and slides or in-field experience
  • Use photos (with consent) and simple charts
  • Highlight cultural elements and testimonials
  • Speak slowly, avoid jargon, define acronyms
  • Show the real-world impact on patients and communities
  • Include before/after scenarios when appropriate
  • Demonstrate integration with conventional healthcare
